The Thirteenth Pilgrimage was an adventure from the start. When humans actually could go face to face with dinosaurs, they were amazed. They created a village, where they could peacefully stay and also be able to move outside.
But soon, the demands for housing grew to be overwhelming for the folk who built things, and the first scouts were sent to venture outside of the gates for fertile land that met the requirements of humans. Nothing did.
The humans were soon forced to move out of their comfy little gates, and many were quickly killed. But some humans grew adept to listening to every sound, blending in to nature, and even fooling dinosaurs who looked upon them. They were able to fight of sixers, and even small dinosaurs!
Soon, some people began to feel some form of...connection to a specific species of dinosaur. Their physical attributes changed dramatically, and in about 100 years, there was at least one human for every dinosaur. These two beings would connect and be able to communicate and work together to achieve certain goals.
After that happened, humans with a connection to predators separated from the humans with connections to herbivores. And that's when the great war started.
