These Rules apply to every board on the site. Breaking them will result in any suitable punishment determined by me, Hazelstar. Rules are subject to change at anytime without previous notification.
1) No Swearing.
2) No Bullying or being Rude outside of Role Playing.
3) For your Safety, No Talking about your Real Life.
4) No Advertising outside of the Advertise board.
5) No Killing another Character Without their Permission.
6) No Powerplaying or Godmodding (more on this topic later).
7) There is a Limit of 20 Cat Accounts per person. 10 Created Accounts, and 10 Adopted Accounts. Accounts no longer add to your total when a cat has died.
8) Your Character Cannot Die Without Permission from Me, Hazelstar.
9) You may not Join a Clan Without Permission from a Leader or Me, Hazelstar.
10) Litters of Kits have a Maximum of 5.
11) Kings and Queens' Kits are referred to as Princes and Princesses. The Eldest (or otherwise if the King or Queen chooses) child is next in line to be King or Queen.
12) Healers ARE aloud to have Kits. The Eldest Kit is trained by their parent to become the next healer. If there is no Heir, an Apprentice can be chosen.
13) An Adviser is chosen by the King or Queen to help them lead. The Adviser's Kits are NOT guaranteed to be the next Adviser.
14) Cats train to be warriors unless they are chosen to be trained as a Pyroclaw/Assassin/Knight/Driller. A warrior is selected to be the Adviser as well.
15) When the leader of the Clan Dies, a New Adviser Can be chosen by the Heir to the throne.
16) If the King or Queen dies and there are none next in line, the Adviser becomes Leader.
17) If the Adviser Dies, a New one is chosen Before the next Gathering.
16) If the Healer Dies and there is no Heir or apprentice, the one in the Clan with the Most Healing Knowledge becomes Healer.
17) If there is a total disaster and Both the Leader and Adviser Die, the New Leader is chosen in whatever means necessary.
18) StarClan cats can speak to cats they knew in life, and currently living relatives (unless there are special circumstances) at any time they sleep, but they cannot tell them about things the cat shouldn't know yet (unless a plot requires it).
19) A Cat Cannot have Another litter of Kits until the Previous litter are All Apprentices.
20) There can only be 6 Pyroclaws/Assassins/Knights/Drillers per Clan.
21) Kits of a Pyroclaw/Assassin/Knight/Driller have an increased chance of becoming one. Warrior's kits will still be able to, but the chance is not as likely.
22) Pyroclaws cannot directly set living creatures on fire, but their fire can spread on to those living things.
23) Assassins are abnormally good at stealth and surprise, but are very bad at head-to-head fighting, and directly attacking in general. They can, though, attack without being found first.
24) Knights are the strongest cats at directly striking, but are sometimes slowed down by their dog-tooth claws, and don't usually have many places to hide.
25) Drillers can't dig tunnels unrealistically fast.
26) Drillers can "see" heat through the earth in color patters corresponding to the object's heat. Like using scent to find things, Drillers may chose whether or not to use this power whenever they like.
27) Drillers can only use their heat-sense as far as their vision goes. (Example: They can't see magma if it's deep enough to be in the earth's mantle. They also can't see other cats from other clans from their own camp.)
28) Objects Drillers can see with heat-sense include but are not limited to Magma, Lava, Fire, Cats, Prey animals, Predators, and other things that give off heat.
29) Drillers have the Fossil-Melt ability, which means that they are able to, upon choice, move their front paws through stone as if it were water. This ability is limited to stone and solid sediment (Example: it wouldn't work on sand.), and to only the cat's front paws and front legs.
30) When using the Fossil-Melt ability, a Driller may grab onto a living creature (cat, prey, ect.) and pull it through to the other side of the rock. The living creature cannot get stuck half way through. If dropped in the middle of a stone surface, the living creature will be rejected from the stone and back to the side they were originally on.
I hope this helps you understand the expectations of this site. If you have any questions, ask them in the comments and I will gladly answer them. If you have an idea for a rule post here or PM me. If you see anyone breaking the rules, PM me and I will take necessary action. I, Hazelstar, have the right to change any or all of these rules. I will also update them when needed. These rules were made for your safety and so everyone can have fun and understand the idea of a role playing game. Thank you for being patient and reading them all.
What is Powerplaying and Godmodding?
Both of these things are ways that players control other players. It means when someone says something about what someone else said or did that the other player did not confirm in a post of their own. Here is an example:
George: I run away from John.
John: I run after George and tackle him.
George: I never said you could tackle me. That's Powerplaying.
John: Oh, I'm sorry friend.
George: Next time, say 'tried to tackle George' and it will be fine.
John: Good idea!
Luckily, this example problem was solved by a friendly conversation. But when interacting with another character, make sure you say 'tried to', 'attempted', 'thought', 'didn't check if', ect. So that you never have to worry about powerplaying!!!
