Yes, you may have two kits on one account, there's just the small matter of post counting. There are several different things you could do about this: One, all posts, no matter which kit is involved, go to age the first kit until they are an apprentice. It will then alternate until all cats on that account no longer need post-related aging. The second option is that the posts are split in half between the two cats (ex. 50 posts=25 for each). Or you could tally them yourself if you want to. Whatever works best for you can be used on your account.
