The Legend of Juliet Cheviler

(This is just a story that I am making)


The Intro:

Juliet was no normal girl.... whoa pause, I am sure you have heard that before. But truly and honestly Juliet was not a normal girl. Okay I will try not to stop the story again. She had to be "proper" yes but that just was not her. But most people say it is the way a musketeer daughter is supposed to act. Yep I said it a musketeer's daughter... oops I stopped the story again. Anyway Juliet is the first and only daughter of one of the three musketeers. Everyone knows that she has potential to be a musketeer, but women are not aloud to hold any weapons. The point is she could not and never may be a musketeer. But that will really have to change. So now that I told you the basics, I will start from the beginning.

The Beginning:

Juliet sat outside watching her father as he swung his sword around. He stopped and looked at his little Juliet. Her father motioned her over and asked while holding up his sword in front of her face "Would you like to know how to use one of these?" She nodded and looked excited. Her father at his daughter such an innocent girl she was, he knew he would probably go to jail for teaching her how to use a sword. But he did not seem to care. He did some easy motions with his sword. Then he handed her the sword telling her how to hold it and swing it without cutting herself. At such a young age his daughter had made history of getting born as the first girl in the musketeer family. Juliet looked up at her father and asked "Daddy can I become a musketeer when I am older?"

8 Years Later; Juliet's 16th Birthday:[/u][/color]

Juliet sat up in bed, she had planned to sleep in more before her mother called her down for school. She got dressed and went downstairs still looking tired. The lamps were off downstairs, she wondered why. Then all of a sudden her father, mother and a few of her friends said "Happy Birthday Juliet!" At that moment a bunch of lamps were lit and a cake was lit. By then she was fully awake. She looked at the cake then her friends and family. She asked " But what about school?" Her mother laughed and said "there is no school today, it's Sunday, Juliet dear." Juliet smiled and blew out the candles on the cake. When she blew the candles out she noticed most of the light from the candles was pretty much lighting the whole room. She said "So we are almost out of lamps." She marched back upstairs and got into her stupid itchy dress that she hated. She would have loved going out in boys clothes and pretend to be a boy. But her mother would not let her do that. Her father would her to do it anytime. In fact the first time she suggested the idea to her father, he agreed and let her go out in his clothes for at least a week before her mother caught her. But Juliet never would give up that easily, so she promised herself that she would become a musketeer. She walked down in her party dress. In her dress she hid a dagger. She looked rich so she had to protect herself. Her mother had made a ball for her birthday. So just to please her mother she wore a blue and purple silky dress that you could move in easily. She hated wearing the big dresses, so she wore something delicate but flexible. Juliet walked downstairs as she remembered with balls you needed a partner. She wondered who her mother had chosen. After only a few steps downstairs she saw a brush. Just what she needed. She started to brush her hair braided her hair into a french braid. Then she took it back out and her hair became wavy. She put the brush back down and finished her decent downstairs. When she saw Alek she groaned and put her hand on her head. Juliet saw her mother and pulled her to one side of the room where Alek nor her father could hear. Her mother looked very irritated, Juliet said "Mother, why is he here, I am not dancing with HIM!" Her mother said in a stern tone "Now Juliet you needed someone to dance with how about someone you already know. Now stop with your childish attitude and go say hello." Juliet rolled her eyes and walked towards the two men. She plastered a smile on her face and said "Hi father, hi..." She hesitated and turned to her mother a pleading look in her eyes. Her mother pulled out a ' if you don't do this you will be in trouble on your birthday' look. She shuddered and turned back towards Alek she said as she curtseyed "Hello Sir Sparta." He bowed with a smirk on his face. "Nice to see you again Lady Cheviler." Juliet turned to her mother and mouthed 'are you happy?' Her mother nodded in reply.
